ABOUT RYAN

My name is Ryan Stiner.

I’m a graphic artist and thing-maker living in southeast Michigan with my wife, 2 kids, and a cat.

Here I am on InstagramFacebook and LinkedIn

I've been drawing since I can remember and have been creating professionally for over 20 years. I attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago around 2000, where I learned a lot about materials and techniques, and a lot more about how art school wasn't necessarily the path for me.

After that, I resettled in Michigan, spending 15 years working within Zingerman's community of businesses honing my skills as a professional artist. I've created illustration and design for everything from books, packaging, museum exhibits, logos and brand identity, to catalogs, billboards, vehicle wraps, apparel, and websites for clients big, small, and everywhere in between — all around the world.

TESTIMONIALS

"Ryan Stiner made Make A Scene look the same way it reads. I came to him with big ambitions and very little time. He took my ideas and expanded them into a bold, distinctive identity that genuinely jumps off the shelf. He was easy to work with, fast under pressure, and creatively sharp at every step. Even with a last-minute, borderline-unfair deadline, he delivered—and nailed it. The cover grabs attention. The interior illustrations add depth and personality. If you want a designer who combines vision, speed, and execution, Ryan’s your guy."

"I found Ryan Stiner after falling in love with the logo for my Homeopath that Ryan designed. I've since worked on two projects with him and each time he was spot on at the first attempt. I don't think he can come up with a bad idea. His style is fresh, relevant and cool. If I can dream it, Ryan can create it!"

Aimee, from Rivalvest in Virginia

Ryan has become my go-to artist ... it was a no brainer choice when I needed a new logo for my business. Ryan is the guy whom you can come to with a vague and rough idea then leave that in his capable hands and know that you’ll be given a truly unique and artistic product. His work is a gift!

Emily, from Colorado

"I couldn’t be happier with the artwork. It feels so very “us" and I’ve been hearing great responses in the community. It’s also worth mentioning how wonderful [Ryan was] to work with — and I so appreciate that. I hope we’ll get to work together again in the future."

Julia, from Community Food Share in Colorado

“Ryan is a dream to work with – responsive, professional, easy-going, and fast. He did an amazing job of capturing the vision of our artwork request and brought it to life better than we could have envisioned. I highly recommend Ryan, he’s wonderful and a delight to work with.”
